Board your international flight and get ready for an unbelieveable trip to Japan. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel by shuttle. Please look for a sign labelled “Travel Asia” in the arrivals hall, after clearing customs and collecting your baggage.
Please note: Some flights might depart the night before.
After breakfast, you will visit the beautiful capital city of Tokyo for a city tour. The tour will include a visit to the outside of the Tokyo Tower. This iconic structure was first opened in 1958 and stands at 333 metres high. Then you will stop at the Imperial Palace, otherwise known as Edo Castle, which was constructed in 1457. You will also visit the beautiful Rainbow Bridge, located at Tokyo Bay. You will then head to Asakusa Kannon Temple, also known as Sensoji Temple, a Buddhist temple built in the 7th century and the oldest temple in Japan. The tour will conclude with a trip to the famous Nakamise shopping street, where you can find traditional Japanese food, souvenirs and novelty items.
Following breakfast, you will travel to Asahi Breweries where you can watch the entire brewing process and also enjoy the freshly brewed beer in an open-area tasting room. You will then visit the iconic Owakudani volcano, where you will have the best view of the iconic Mt Fuji. Here you will enjoy a scenic ride on the Hakone Ropeway (Please note - your trip to Owakudani will be dependent on weather and if weather does not permit, alternative arrangements will be made). Afterwards you will visit Hakone Heiwa Park. Finish today's tour by enjoying a seafood buffet served with barbecue fresh abalone while watching the evening entertainment.
This morning, start your journey to the Fuji Visitor Center. It is located at end neighborhood of Mt. Fuji lava flow called “Kemmarubi” and is just at the entrance of Mt. Fuji. You can see the history of eruption, nature, culture of Mt. Fuji, and view a Mount Fuji from a special viewing platform. The tour will then proceed on to Oshino Hakkai, which is a small scenic village with eight ponds in Oshino. The ponds are quite deep and have interesting freshwater plant life and large fish that make a visit to the ponds almost like visiting an aquarium. After lunch, you will continue on to the Kakegawa city, where you will taste authentic Japanese green tea before continuing on to Toyohashi
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will continue on to Kyoto, a romantic city renowned for its traditional and new architecture and cultural life. The city was the country’s capital for almost 300 years. Once you arrive, you will visit the famous Kiyomizu Temple which was first constructed in the 7th century and rebuilt in 1633. On the journey to the temple you will walk through a beautiful shopping district where souvenirs, Kyoto ceramics, Japanese Mochi and snacks can be purchased. You may enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure or choose to visit the nearby Hanakomachi.
Today, following breakfast, you are free to explore the city at your own pace or join the optional city tour. During the optional tour, you will visit Nijo Castle, the Golden Pavillion, Arashiyama Bamboo Forrest and enjoy a traditional kimono show at the Nishijin Textile Gallery. In the evening, you will conclude the optional tour with a visit to the Nishiki Market, famous for its unique Japanese cuisine. Lunch will be provided during the optional tour.
Following breakfast, you will proceed to the city of Nara, which was the first capital of Japan. Your first stop will be to the Todaiji Temple which is home to the great bronze Buddha. The statue is the largest Buddha statue in the world and the surrounds are full of over 1,000 holy deer. You will also visit the beautiful Kasuga Taisha shrine. After lunch, you will continue on to Osaka Castle and the Dotonbori area. Dinner will be enjoyed at a local restaurant before you return to your hotel for the evening.
Today you will be transferred to Kansai International Airport by airport shuttle for your flight home.

The cherry blossoms (sakura) usually bloom in the last week of March and the first two weeks of April. Cherry blossom are extremely seasonal and we can't guaruntee they will bloom during your visit. However, for your best chance of viewing cherry blossoms select the following dates when making your purchase:

The total length of the tour in days includes time spent in flight and is subject to change depending on the flight schedule, please refer to the day by day itinerary for the time spent on land.
An $800 per person reduction from the twin share price applies if you wish to arrange your own airfares. Should you wish to purchase land only, please select this option in the booking process, under 'Departure City'.
Upgrades to business class are from $5,000 per person in addition to the twin share price. Please specify if you would like us to arrange a business class upgrade in the 'Special Requests' field when finalising your booking. You will be contact after purchase for collection of this payment.

The accommodation listed, is subject to change. Any changes will be of an equal of higher standard. Bedding configurations are on requests only, as it can be quite difficult to obtain double bedding throughout hotels in Japan. All efforts will be made to meet your preferences however any changes are beyond our control.
Refundable deposit within 28 days of purchase:
For cancellations made within 28 days of paying the deposit on any tour, your deposit can be refunded in full or can be transferred to a new booking should you decide to change to another package or destination. Please note this change of mind guarantee does not apply for bookings made within 90 days of departure, after which time our standard 48 hour cooling off period applies. After this time, your booking becomes non-refundable.

Refund times will vary and the timeframe of which will be advised at the time of cancellation. Any refund of deposit will be issued back to the original form of payment.
Any bookings made prior to 13 March 2020 must abide by the original payment term conditions.
Transferrable second installment up until 90 days before scheduled departure:
Following the second installment payment and up until 90 days before your departure only, should you wish to postpone your travel or transfer to another package, we can provide you with a credit note of the current balance paid on your booking, to be used to rebook within 18 months of the credit being issued.
