Optional tours can be selected once you have finalised your tour purchase and paid your deposit. When completing your Passenger Booking Form, you will be asked if you would like to add Optional Tours, where any applicable cost will be added to your final balance. If you choose not to select them at this time, you can choose to add them later by logging in to your Account online.

Please note that you must select your Optional Tours no later than 70 days before departure, after which you will be required to purchase them on tour. Please keep in mind that anything purchased on-tour is subject to availability and prices may vary as you will be paying in local currency. We appreciate your understanding.

With rows of 3 seats instead of 4, extra space for your legs, a wider seat and backrest, First Class has been designed for your comfort and serenity.

Please note the seat reservation is not available on First Class on the following train rides: Florence - La Spezia / La Spezia - Milan / Milan - Como.

Airport Transfers 
Some of our packages will include airport transfers in either one or both directions when arriving or departing from your destination. To know if transfers are included please view the ‘inclusions’ section of your selected package. If airport transfers are stated, transfers will be included as advised.

If transfers are not included, we also offer the option to book your airport transfers using our online portal. Access to this portal is available through your Traveller Hub once your booking is confirmed. Transfers are readily available and do not need to be booked until your final hotel list has been confirmed. Once you have made a transfer booking, please refer to your confirmation email for all transfer details including a local contact number for the transfer company.

If you book pre and/or post-tour accommodation on your arrangement, and the tour includes transfers, note that these will be forfeited. The transfers are only provided in line with the tour dates and pre and/or post-tour accommodation purchased through Inspiring Vacations when available.

Bedding Configuration
Bedding configurations (double or twin) are requests only. All efforts will be made to meet your preferences, but we can not guarantee your request will be available at all properties.

Single travellers
When booking this tour, solo travellers will be presented with two options:

1 - Single Supplement
By paying an additional $2,450.00 per person, in addition to the twin-share price, you guarantee the privacy of your room throughout the entire tour.

Please note when choosing Single Supplement for this tour, your room will generally consist of a double or semi-double bed. Occasionally there may be a hotel that will provide a single bedded room for single travellers. 

2- Shared Room with a known friend
If travelling together with a friend, you can opt to share your room with them and avoid paying a single supplement. 

You and your friend can create a unique booking each. Creating a unique booking, gives each of you the flexibility of making different travel arrangements (such as adding extra accommodation, flights, etc), making separate payments and having individual access to our Traveller Hub

During the purchase path, you will need to provide your friend’s booking ID (if known) or at a minimum, your friend’s full name.

This product requires a $99.00 deposit per person and full payment within 48 hours to secure your booking.

Cooling Off Period
A refund will be available within the 7-day cooling-off period unless otherwise restricted by the purchased product. 

Where 'last minute' bookings are available within 71 days of departure, the cooling-off period does not apply and bookings are immediately non-refundable.

• The itinerary features a mix of guided experiences and flexible free time, giving you the freedom to follow your own interests while benefiting from a well-organized structure. Expect regular walking—often through cobbled old towns, historic neighborhoods, or pedestrian-only zones—so a moderate level of fitness is recommended. Luggage must be carried between stations and hotels, all of which are centrally located for maximum convenience, so packing light is strongly encouraged.
• This journey is perfect for those seeking a well-rounded taste of Italy and Switzerland—their cities, countryside, and cuisine—without the need to drive or follow a group tour. While English is widely spoken in tourist areas, some comfort navigating foreign languages and train systems will enhance your experience.

Visas & Entry Requirements
Many countries require a visa and obtaining the correct visa for your tour and any countries you may transit through is your responsibility. We recommend you check your visa requirements as soon as you have booked your tour. You’ll need a valid passport to travel internationally and most countries require your passport to have a minimum of 6 months validity, so remember to check the expiry date.

We need your passport information to get everything ready for your tour so the information on your booking must match your passport exactly. Please take care to provide the correct details. We recommend carrying a copy of the photo page of your passport while travelling and leaving a copy at home with family or friends.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended on all our tours. We require that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. It is also important to consider forced pre-tour cancellations and how your chosen insurance policy may cover such circumstances, so please keep this in mind when choosing your provider. 

We strongly recommend all travellers have a policy that also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage or personal effects. For international tours, you will be asked by your tour leader for your travel insurance details if they were not already added to your Traveller Hub account pre-departure.

If you have credit card insurance your Inspiring Vacations tour leader or local guide may require details of the participating insurer/underwriter, the level of coverage, policy number, and emergency contact number rather than the bank's name and your credit card details. Please contact your bank for these details before arriving in-country.

Before you depart, you will be asked to submit your Travel Insurance details through the booking holder's Traveller Hub account through the Inspiring Vacations website. This is to ensure that we have this information readily available should we ever need it. 

Health & Wellness
All travellers need to be in good physical health to participate fully on this tour. Our group tours are designed to immerse you in incredible sights and activities, often involving walking tours and self-exploration. To ensure you can fully embrace every moment, we recommend a moderate level of fitness for all of our tours. 

When selecting your tour please make sure you have read through the itinerary carefully and assess your ability to manage and enjoy our style of travel. Please note that in the assessment of our Inspiring Vacations Tour Leader or local representative a traveller is unable to complete the itinerary without undue risk to themselves and/or the rest of the group, we reserve the right to exclude them from all or part of a tour without refund.

You should consult your doctor for up-to-date medical travel information or for any necessary vaccinations before departure. We recommend that you carry a first aid kit as well as any personal medical requirements in their original packaging as they may not easily be obtained while travelling. If you are carrying medication, ensure you check your government's foreign travel advice for any local restrictions or requirements. For the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others, if you are unwell before travelling, please stay at home and contact us to make alternative arrangements and we would be more than happy to assist you.

Important Information for Customers with Mobility Limitations
We want to ensure everyone has a fantastic and inclusive experience on our tours. If you require the use of a mobility aid, such as a cane, walker, or wheelchair, please disclose this information at the time of booking.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for the entire group, our tours are designed with a specific itinerary in mind. This may involve moderate walking, uneven terrain, or stairs. While some itinerary adjustments may not be possible, we'll do our best to find alternative solutions within the planned activities whenever possible.

Open communication helps us ensure your tour is a perfect fit and it allows your local guide or tour leader to assist you where possible. 

Information for CPAP Users
If you use a CPAP machine, please let us know at the time of booking. Some portions of our itinerary, like overnight cruises or camping tours, may have limited access to power outlets. In such cases, we recommend travelling with portable battery packs. 

Certain activities, like overnight journeys on board smaller vessels, may not be suitable for CPAP use due to space limitations or noise concerns. We can discuss these potential limitations upfront and help you make informed decisions about your tour.

Please ensure that you check the voltage used throughout the countries you are travelling to and if it will be compatible with your machines. For example, Japan runs on 100 volts vs Australia at 220-240 volts, meaning a voltage converter might be required.

Documentation
Tour documentation is typically emailed to the lead passenger or your travel agent between 14-30 days before your scheduled departure. This will include your final hotel list. 

Child Policy
Children must be 5 years old or above and share a room with parents at all times. Children are charged the same price as adults.

Starting Point
Your starting hotel may differ from the original itinerary.  Please refer to your final documentation which will be provided approximately 14-30 days before departure for your confirmed hotel list. If you need to book pre-tour accommodation independently, we suggest you do this only once you have received your final hotel list for your tour. If you would like to book something sooner, we recommend that you book using a flexible rate that can be cancelled through your chosen third-party provider without penalty. 

Travellers will arrive at various times throughout the day depending on flights booked. If arriving before standard check-in time, which is generally 3pm, you are welcome to leave your luggage at hotel reception and explore your surroundings until check-in becomes available as there are no scheduled activities on day 1 of the itinerary.  The hotel may grant early check-in, however this is strictly subject to availability and at the hotel’s discretion. 

Note: if you need to apply for a tourist visa before departure, we recommend using the details of the suggested hotel on the tour itinerary if you wish to fulfil this before the release of your final tour documentation. Please refer to our visa section for more information on whether or not a visa is required for your destination. 

Arrival Details
Airport transfers are included as part of your package, so long as you are arriving as per the purchased itinerary. If you have purchased an extension, either pre or post-tour, the applicable transfer service will be forfeited from your package and you will need to make your arrangements to the starting hotel.

Where the service remains included, on arrival look out for a representative holding an “Inspiring Vacations” sign after you have collected your baggage and exited customs. If you cannot find them, try to avoid wandering around and instead stay in one place and call the emergency contact number on your documentation. 

Where the service has been forfeited due to an early arrival and extended stay, we do offer airport transfers at an additional cost which can be booked via your Traveller Hub.  We recommend you wait until you receive your final documentation to book transfers as your start and end hotels will only be confirmed at this point. Please note that if you are choosing to book an independent airport transfer service, your Inspiring Vacations Tour Leader cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances that may arise, nor can they resolve any concerns that you may have with your transfer service.

To make your way to your hotel from the airport, there are various connections by train or limousine bus. The airport information desks can provide helpful advice, too. Most destinations offer ride-share services, such as Uber or Didi. 

If you're having any problems finding the hotel, please ring the hotel directly or you can phone our customer support team for on-tour assistance. 

In Case of Emergency
Although we strive to deliver exceptional holiday experiences, unforeseen circumstances can occasionally arise during travel. If any issues arise during your tour, it's essential to promptly communicate them to your tour leader or local representative. This ensures they can take immediate action to address the problem and mitigate any negative impact on the remainder of your journey.

We understand that there may be instances where your tour leader or local representative is unable to resolve a situation to your satisfaction. In such cases, we encourage you to request that the tour leader or local representative escalate the matter to their direct manager for further assistance.

When your final tour documentation is released, this will include an emergency contact for our local travel partner while you are on tour. If this is not included in your documentation, you will receive this on arrival during your welcome meeting. 

All current taxes are included in your tour (VAT, city permits, road taxes, visitor taxes, fuel charges and any other applicable charges), with the exception of city taxes which are to be paid directly to each hotel. The tax will vary from €3-€5 per person per day depending  on the hotel booked. Please note that this tax is dictated by the government entities, can only be paid locally and can change without any warning to Inspiring Vacations.

Venice has implemented an access fee charged to day trip visitors who are not staying overnight in the municipality of Venice, during specific high season dates. The calendar of dates is available here.

If you are staying in an accommodation in the municipality of Venice, then you are exempt from this fee. However, to avoid paying the fee you must register for an exemption by filling out an exemption request here. The exemption form will provide you with a QR code you can show on your phone. 

If required for your travel dates, you may pre-book once you have received your final documents confirming your hotel. The exemption must be completed before entering the city, but can be done while traveling.

As a general requirement across all of our trips, you may be required to walk up and down stairs, get on and off transportation, handle your luggage, and participate in all scheduled sightseeing that may be conducted on uneven ground and terrain. Any physical ailments you may have must be disclosed at the time of booking to determine your suitability and where required, supporting documentation may be requested to ensure that we are comfortable that you will enjoy your trip.

Optional Tours

Our optional tours are typically led by your tour leader or local guide. Please note that transportation to and from the optional tours may not be included, but your tour leader or local guide will be happy to assist you with navigating public transportation options like trains or taxis to reach the starting point.

Any behaviour that prevents your Inspiring Vacations Tour Leader from continuing the itinerary as planned, breaks local laws or opposes any of these guidelines, may result in Inspiring Vacations removing you from the tour.

Sometimes, unexpected things can happen, like unpredictable weather or higher-than-usual crowds at attractions. In these situations, your  itinerary may need to be adjusted slightly to improve your overall experience. 

This flexibility ensures you get the most out of your tour! Inspiring Vacations will  keep you informed of any changes and explain the reasoning behind them. Remember, when travelling, sometimes going with the flow can lead to even more amazing experiences.

Staying Connected
If you want to stay connected and access reliable internet while on tour, there are a few options available. It is possible to purchase a virtual sim and we recommend contacting your mobile phone provider for assistance. You can add a roaming data plan to your existing phone contract is another option, albeit an expensive one. You will need to arrange this before departure. 

We also recommend downloading WhatsApp and using this to communicate with other group members while on tour, and of course, after the tour if you’d like to stay in touch. Our tour leaders may also use this as a means of communicating essential tour information with you, as well as if you choose to add-on transfers to your booking, as your driver may use this to confirm arrangements with you.

Getting Around
This trip is designed around the efficient and scenic rail networks of Italy and Switzerland, offering a comfortable, sustainable, and relaxed way to explore both countries. You’ll travel on a mix of high-speed, intercity, and regional trains—with tickets and seat reservations included in your package. Train journeys are part of the experience, showcasing everything from Italy’s rolling vineyards and coastlines to Switzerland’s alpine landscapes and lakeside towns. Stations are centrally located, making it easy to reach your accommodation and begin exploring each destination on foot.

In both countries, most sightseeing is done independently and on foot, particularly in historic centers where many streets are pedestrian-only or cobbled. Optional tours may include transfers where needed, but you should be prepared for regular walking—including stairs, train platforms, and uneven terrain.

Taxis are available in most cities and can be arranged through your hotel if needed, though they are not included unless specified in your itinerary. To ensure a smooth arrival, private airport transfers are included at the start of the trip, and available as an optional add-on for your return journey.

You’ll be responsible for carrying your own luggage throughout the trip—including on and off trains—so packing light is strongly recommended for ease and flexibility during travel.

We go beyond by researching various trusted travel websites like Tripadvisor and Booking.com. This allows us to analyse a wider range of genuine customer reviews and experiences, giving you a well-rounded understanding of the hotel's typical star rating.

This means you can book with confidence, knowing the hotel has a strong track record of satisfied guests. 

Accommodation Details
Throughout the trip, you'll stay in comfortable, centrally located 3- or 4-star hotels that have been carefully selected for their quality, convenience, and proximity to train stations. This allows for easy arrival and departure in each city, minimizing transfers and making your independent travel experience as smooth as possible.

All hotels are within walking distance or a short taxi ride from the train station, and also offer easy access to major attractions, dining, and local transport options. Daily breakfast is included, and staff are generally English-speaking and happy to assist with local recommendations.

Room categories are standard double or twin rooms with private bathrooms. If you have any specific room or bedding preferences, please let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Luggage storage is usually available at each hotel should you arrive before check-in or need to store bags after check-out.

Luggage Requirements
As this is an independent rail-based trip, you’ll be responsible for carrying your own luggage on and off trains, through stations, and to your accommodation. For this reason, we strongly recommend packing light and choosing luggage that is easy to handle.

Recommended: One medium-sized suitcase or travel backpack (with wheels or straps) plus a small daypack for daily use.

Not suitable: Large, heavy suitcases or multiple bags per person, as they can be difficult to manage on busy train platforms and in station stairwells or narrow streets.

Keep in mind that some train stations do not have escalators or elevators, and historic city centers often have cobblestone streets. Comfortable luggage with good mobility will greatly enhance your travel experience.

Climate 
Italy and Switzerland both offer diverse climates throughout the year, with regional and elevation-based variations that are important to consider when planning your trip.
Spring (March-May) brings mild and pleasant weather across both countries. In Italy, temperatures typically range from 10°C (50°F) in northern regions like Venice to 20°C (68°F) in southern areas such as Sorrento and Bari. Switzerland experiences similar spring conditions in cities like Lucerne and Interlaken, though mountain areas remain cooler. It’s a great season for sightseeing, with fewer crowds and blooming landscapes. Light layers, a jacket, and an umbrella for the occasional rain shower are recommended.

Summer (June-August) can be hot and dry in Italy, especially in the south (Sorrento, Bari, Amalfi Coast), with temperatures reaching the mid-30s°C (mid-90s°F). Central cities like Rome also experience intense heat. In contrast, Switzerland offers a more temperate summer climate, especially in mountain towns like Interlaken or Lucerne, where daytime highs range from 20–28°C (68–82°F). It’s ideal for hiking, lake cruising, and scenic train rides. Pack breathable clothing, sun protection, and a light jacket for cooler alpine evenings.

Autumn (September-November) offers moderate and comfortable temperatures in both countries. In Italy, southern regions remain warm (20–25°C / 68–77°F), while the north begins to cool down—especially in the Dolomites or Venice. Switzerland sees crisp, refreshing weather and vibrant fall colors, particularly around the lakes and mountain trails. It’s also harvest season in both countries, making it a fantastic time for food and wine lovers. Bring a sweater or light jacket for evenings.

Winter (December-February) varies greatly by region. In southern Italy (Rome, Sorrento), winters are mild, averaging 10–15°C (50–59°F). Northern Italy and the Alps can be cold and snowy, especially in ski areas like the Dolomites. Switzerland experiences true winter conditions, particularly in the mountains, where snow and sub-zero temperatures are common—perfect for winter sports. Cities like Zurich and Lucerne are colder but still charming with festive winter atmospheres. Warm layers, a good coat, and waterproof shoes are essential for those visiting alpine or northern regions.

Currency and ATMs
In Italy, the currency is the Euro (€). In Switzerland, the official currency is the Swiss Franc (CHF). While Switzerland is not part of the Eurozone, some tourist areas may accept Euros, but change will typically be given in Francs and at an unfavorable rate—so it’s best to use local currency.

ATMs are widely available in cities, towns, and tourist areas in both countries. Major international credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) are generally accepted across hotels, restaurants, and shops. However, it’s always a good idea to carry some cash, especially for small purchases, public transportation, market stalls, or when visiting rural areas where card use may be limited.

Some smaller towns, cafés, or family-run establishments may have a cash-only policy or prefer cash for lower-value transactions. For convenience, carry a mix of larger and smaller denominations in the appropriate local currency.

If you're booking optional tours or additional services while traveling, credit cards are often accepted, but having cash on hand is helpful. We also recommend notifying your bank of your travel dates in advance to avoid any issues with international card usage.

Food and Allergies 
Traveling by rail through Italy and Switzerland is not only a scenic journey but also a delicious one—offering the chance to experience two countries with rich, regional culinary traditions and iconic flavors.

In Italy, each stop reveals a different food culture. In Rome, try beloved pasta dishes like carbonara and cacio e pepe in cozy trattorias. Naples, the birthplace of pizza, is the place for a wood-fired Margherita. In Tuscany, enjoy bold, rustic fare such as bistecca alla fiorentina and local Chianti wines. And in Venice, delight in cicchetti (Venetian tapas) and creamy seafood risottos along the canals.

In Switzerland, the cuisine varies by region. In the German-speaking areas like Lucerne, try fondue, raclette, and Rösti. The French-speaking regions serve refined dishes with a continental flair—think buttery pastries, creamy sauces, and elegant desserts. In Ticino, the Italian-speaking region, you'll find Mediterranean-style dishes, fresh pastas, and risottos with a Swiss twist.

Daily breakfast is included, while other meals are at your leisure—giving you the freedom to explore each destination’s food scene, whether that’s a mountain-view picnic, a café lunch, or a fine dining experience. Optional food and wine experiences are available in select cities for those wanting a deeper taste of the local cuisine.

While both Italy and Switzerland are generally accommodating to different diets, you're responsible for managing your food choices and ensuring they align with your personal needs throughout the journey.

Local Customs
In both Italy and Switzerland, cultural norms reflect a strong sense of local identity, tradition, and pride—though each country has its own nuances.

In Italy, greetings are generally warm and informal. Handshakes are standard in most settings, while in more familiar situations, a light kiss on both cheeks (starting with the left) is common. In Switzerland, greetings tend to be more formal, especially in public or business contexts. A firm handshake is typical, and three cheek kisses (alternating sides) may be exchanged among close friends or family, depending on the region.

Meal times also vary. In Italy, lunch is typically served between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM, and dinner often begins around 8:00 PM or later, especially in the south. Italians view meals as an experience, so take the time to savor the food and atmosphere. In Switzerland, lunch is usually earlier, around 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, and dinner tends to be served from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Swiss dining culture is more punctual, and service may feel more reserved compared to Italy’s laid-back style.

When visiting cultural or religious sites—such as churches, cathedrals, or monuments in either country—dress modestly and respectfully. This is particularly important in religious settings like the Vatican or historic abbeys and monasteries in Switzerland.
In both countries, smaller towns may observe an afternoon break (similar to a siesta in Italy), during which shops and restaurants may close for a few hours. It’s a reflection of a more traditional pace of life.

Respecting local customs and adapting to cultural norms—whether it’s a greeting, dining habit, or dress code—will enrich your journey and foster meaningful connections with locals, allowing you to experience the authentic charm and character of both Italy and Switzerland.

Tipping 
Tipping practices in Italy and Switzerland are relatively modest compared to other countries, and while never obligatory, tipping is a thoughtful way to show appreciation for good service. Since this is an independent trip, tipping is entirely at your discretion and based on your personal experience. Here's a general guide for common tipping situations in each country:

Restaurants
Italy: A service charge (coperto) is often included on the bill. If not, rounding up or leaving €1–€2 per person is appreciated. In higher-end establishments, a tip of 5–10% is more typical.

Switzerland: Service charges are generally included in restaurant bills. However, it’s customary to round up the total or leave 5–10 CHF for good service in sit-down restaurants.

Hotel Staff: In both countries, tipping porters €1–€2 (or 1–2 CHF) per bag is appropriate. A small tip of €1–€2 (or 1–2 CHF) per day for housekeeping is appreciated, especially for longer stays.

Taxi Drivers: Tipping is not expected in either Italy or Switzerland. However, rounding up the fare or adding a small amount (€1–€2 or 1–2 CHF) for helpful service is a nice gesture.

Tour Guides & Activity Providers: For optional guided tours or activities, a general guideline is €5–€10 (or 5–10 CHF) per person for half-day tours, and €10–€15 (or 10–15 CHF) for full-day experiences, depending on the quality and effort of the guide.

Helpful Tips

• Tipping is typically done in cash, so carrying a few small euro and Swiss franc coins or notes can be convenient.
• Remember: tipping is always optional and should reflect your satisfaction with the service.

Peak Travel Times
Travel seasons in Italy and Switzerland vary, each offering unique highlights. The high season (June to August) is the busiest, with warm weather drawing tourists to Italy’s cities and coasts, while Switzerland’s mountains buzz with hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. Expect crowds and higher prices during this time.

Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) are ideal for both countries, with milder weather, fewer tourists, and beautiful scenery—Italy sees blooming countryside and harvest festivals, while Switzerland offers vibrant foliage and quieter mountain trails.

Winter (December to February) is quieter in Italy, especially in the south, though cities like Rome and Florence remain festive with holiday markets. In Switzerland, it’s the peak of ski season, with alpine towns like Zermatt and St. Moritz offering world-class snow sports and cozy winter charm.

Planning around these seasonal patterns will help you make the most of your time in both destinations.

Safety and Security
Both Italy and Switzerland are generally safe and welcoming destinations. However, it’s important to check your government’s travel advice before departure and ensure your travel insurance covers all destinations and planned activities.

Common sense goes a long way—be alert in busy areas like train stations, markets, and tourist hotspots, where pickpocketing can occur, particularly in cities like Rome, Florence, Milan, and Zurich. Keep your belongings secure and avoid displaying valuables. At night, stick to well-lit areas and use reputable transportation.

If you choose to participate in any optional or independent activities, make sure they're provided by licensed, trustworthy operators. As this is an independent trip, you are responsible for your own safety and decisions along the way. Staying aware and informed will help you enjoy a smooth and worry-free journey.

Apps to Download
A few handy apps can make your journey smoother. For language, Google Translate (with camera/Lens function) is useful for signs and menus. Google Maps is essential for navigation—download offline maps for cities like Rome, Venice, Milan, Florence, Zurich, Lucerne, and Interlaken. Citymapper is helpful in major urban areas, while Trainline and Trenitalia (Italy) or SBB Mobile (Switzerland) are great for checking train schedules and platforms.

For public transport, ATAC Roma (Rome) and ZVV (Zurich) are useful. Free Now and It Taxi help book taxis across both countries, while WhatsApp is widely used to stay connected.

Post-Tour Feedback
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a link to a post-purchase survey, which is your opportunity to share your feedback with us on your booking experience and interactions with our Sales and Customer Success teams. This feedback is invaluable to ensure that we are servicing our customers to the best of our ability. 

Furthermore, towards the end of your travels and while you are in your destination, you will receive an email from us with a link to an in-depth trip survey. Your tour leader or local guide may also provide you with a QR code that you can scan using your device to access our survey straight away. It is very important to us that we hear from our customers to ensure that we continue to meet and exceed customers' expectations, so this will be your opportunity to let us know how your trip has been, what has worked well and potentially what could be improved. 

Finishing Point
Your finishing hotel may differ from the original itinerary. Please refer to your final documentation which will be provided approximately 14-30 days before departure for your confirmed hotel list. If you need to book additional post-tour accommodation, please do so once you have the final hotel list. We recommend booking a flexible rate that can be changed or cancelled without penalty should there be any unforeseen changes to your booking. 

Travellers will depart at various times throughout the day depending on flights booked. Check-out time is generally from 10am-12pm. You are welcome to leave your luggage at the hotel reception and spend your final moments of free time exploring the area or please speak with hotel staff if you would like to extend your check-out time. This service is subject to availability and will likely come at an additional cost payable directly. 

Departure Details
Airport transfers are not included as part of your package. However, we trust that your journey from the hotel to the airport will be comfortable and hassle-free.

As an added service, we do offer airport transfers at an additional cost which can be booked via your Traveller Hub.  We recommend you wait until you receive your final documentation to book transfers as your start and end hotels will only be confirmed at this point. Please note that if you are choosing to book an independent airport transfer service, your Inspiring Vacations Tour Leader cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances that may arise, nor can they resolve any concerns that you may have with your transfer service.

To make your way to the airport, there are various connections by train or limousine bus. Most destinations offer ride-share services, such as Uber or Didi. If you're having any problems, you can speak to hotel reception before your departure. 

This is a land only package.

This package does not include international airfares. If you would like to add airfares to your booking our flight portal will be available via your Traveller Hub. The flight portal will allow you to search for all available airfares to your destination. The function works like most general flight search engines allowing you to select your preferred airline, book different cabin classes (eg. Business class) and view flight durations and transit times to your destination. 

The flight portal will be available via your Traveller Hub once the following criteria has been met:

• Your booking is confirmed
• Your departure date is within 11 months
• You  have completed your passenger detail form
