Latvia Tours

For a nation so compact, Latvia sure packs a cultural punch. In fact, it could be argued that this little northern European country has some of the best preserved art nouveau architecture in the world. Unlike its neighbours, Latvia only really has one major city and boy, is it a beautiful one. Riga sits on the banks of the Daugava River and oozes ancient charm; visit the old town Vecrīga to explore the sea of architectural masterpieces, such as St. Peter’s Church and the striking House of the Blackheads.

Latvia is lush, with 42% of its total land area forested, but despite its size, there’s a slice of the Latvian outdoors for every traveller. Beach-bums can enjoy its 500km of pristine coastline, nature enthusiasts can hike or cycle the countryside and culture vultures can take part in one of many vibrant festivals, like Jāņi (summer solstice). Far from a sleepy country, Latvia is alive with tradition that every visitor should experience.
