Welcome to Kochi! On arrival at Kochi airport our representative will meet you and transfer to Athirapilly (2 hrs). Athirapally is well known for its waterfall. Spend the late evening at the Athirapilly & Vazhachall waterfalls. Overnight at Athirapilly.
This morning, check-out from your hotel in Athirapilly and drive to Munnar. Munnar is well known for its tea gardens and clean fresh air as it is located high in the Nilgiri hills. On arrival, check-in to your hotel.
This afternoon, enjoy a visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam, Blossom Park & Eco Point before returning to your hotel.
This morning, enjoy a visit to Eravikulam National Park. Eravikulam National Park. High in the ranges of Kerala which offers the magnificent view of hills with tea plantations. Eravikulam is also famous for the natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr, the endangered mountain goat and this park is built with the aim of conserving them.
In the afternoon, visit the Tea Museum & Srishti by Tata before returning to your hotel to enjoy time at leisure.
After breakfast, check-out from you hotel in Munnar, then you will be driven to Thekkady with check-in on arrival. Later this afternoon visit Periyar National Park, a real paradise of elephants plus enjoy a tour of a local spice plantation where you will be enticed by not only the aroma of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and nutmeg but will also get to know how they are grown, harvested and processed.
This evening witness a Kalaripayatu Performance at a local theatre. Kalaripayattu, also known as Kalari, uses sticks, swords, shields and daggers and is believed to be the oldest surviving martial art in India. Designed for the ancient battlefield, this martial art system places great importance on weapon-based techniques.
Today, leave the hotel after breakfast. Your driver will drive you from Thekkady to Alleppey. Upon arrival in Alleppey, head to the jetty and embark on a traditional houseboat. While cruising, you will observe & experience the local villagers’ lifestyle. Sail through the exotic backwaters on the traditional rice boats to view the exotic backwaters and scenic beauty of Kerala. Tonight is spent on board the houseboat in magical Kerala.
This morning, disembark your houseboat at Alleppey Jetty. Your driver will drive you the distance to Kovalam and then on to Kochi airport to board your onward flight.
