Crossing the International Date Line on the way, you arrive in San Francisco on the same calendar day you depart Australia. Upon arrival, make your way independently to your 4-star accommodation, the Hyatt Centric Fisherman’s Wharf, for a one-night stay in the city by the bay. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey or begin exploring San Francisco at your own pace. You might wander down to Fisherman’s Wharf, ride one of the city’s iconic cable cars, or take in views of the Golden Gate Bridge from the waterfront. Pier 39 is a great spot to watch the sea lions, while Union Square offers boutiques and galleries to browse. Tonight is at your leisure to find a local restaurant and enjoy your first taste of the Bay Area’s celebrated dining scene.

Today is a full day at sea aboard Azamara Quest. With nothing pressing to do, this is your chance to settle into the rhythm of cruise life. Spend time relaxing on deck, take a dip in the pool, browse the ship’s library, or unwind with a treatment at the spa. Onboard activities run throughout the day, and meals can be enjoyed at any of the ship’s complimentary dining venues.
Another relaxing day at sea as Azamara Quest continues toward Hawaii. Take advantage of the ship’s onboard offerings, from enrichment talks and trivia in the lounges to a leisurely lunch on deck. The pool, sun loungers and panoramic observation areas are all yours to enjoy.
Spend today at sea however you please. Whether that means catching up on a book in a quiet corner, joining one of the daily onboard activities, or simply soaking up the views from the deck, today is yours to make of it what you will.
A fourth day at sea brings more time to enjoy the ship. Linger over breakfast, find a quiet spot on deck for the afternoon, or explore the ship’s lounges and bars. Tonight, Azamara Quest hosts dinner at one of its various dining venues followed by evening entertainment.

This morning Azamara Quest arrives in Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii and the gateway to Oahu. With an overnight stay in port, you have plenty of time to explore at your own pace. Honolulu is home to the iconic Waikiki Beach, the historic district of downtown, and Pearl Harbor with its sobering WWII memorials. The volcanic landmark of Diamond Head looms over the city’s skyline, while Kapiolani Park offers a green retreat from the bustle of the city. Tonight, the ship remains docked, giving you the option to dine ashore or back onboard.
You have another full day to explore Honolulu and Oahu. Beyond the city, the island offers dramatic coastlines, lush valleys and the famous surf breaks of the North Shore. Take the scenic drive around the island, sample a traditional plate lunch at a roadside spot, or relax on Waikiki’s golden sands. Return to the ship later in the evening as Azamara Quest prepares to depart Honolulu and continue your Hawaiian island journey.

Wake to find the ship docked at Nawiliwili on Kauai, known as the Garden Isle for its lush, tropical scenery. Kauai is one of the most naturally dramatic of the Hawaiian islands, home to the towering cliffs of the Na Pali Coast, the vast Waimea Canyon often called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, and the cascading waterfalls of the Wailua River valley. Step ashore to explore the island’s beaches, take in the views, or sample local cuisine before returning to the ship this evening.
Azamara Quest arrives at Kailua-Kona on the western coast of Hawaii Island, the largest in the Hawaiian chain. Kona is famous for its coffee plantations, ancient Hawaiian temples and the historic village of Kailua itself, with a waterfront stretching past quaint shops, galleries and restaurants. Beyond town, the island’s dramatic volcanic landscapes and black sand beaches are well worth exploring. With more than ten hours in port today, you have time to soak in everything the Big Island has to offer before returning to the ship this evening.

Just a short distance from Tahiti, Moorea is one of the most photographed islands in French Polynesia. Mount Rotui and Mount Tohivea rise dramatically from the centre of the island, while Cook’s Bay and Opunohu Bay carve deep into its northern coast. Azamara Quest arrives in Papeete this morning, marking the end of your cruise. After breakfast onboard, disembark the ship and make your way to the Hilton Hotel Tahiti for a two-night stay. With the rest of the day at leisure, you might choose to wander down to the bustling Marché de Papeete to browse local produce, fresh fish and Polynesian handicrafts. The 19th-century Notre Dame Cathedral sits in the heart of the city, and Bougainville Park offers a shaded green spot to relax. As evening sets in, Place Vai’ete fills with food carts known locally as roulottes, serving up everything from local Tahitian dishes to French and Chinese fare.
Today is yours to enjoy at leisure in Papeete. Take a stroll along the waterfront, visit the Robert Wan Pearl Museum to learn about the local pearl industry, or simply relax by the hotel pool. Tahiti’s black sand beaches, just outside town, are well worth a visit. Starting Point
Your starting hotel may differ from the original itinerary. Please refer to your final documentation which will be provided approximately 14-30 days before departure for your confirmed hotel list. If you need to book pre-tour accommodation independently, we suggest you do this only once you have received your final hotel list for your tour. If you would like to book something sooner, we recommend that you book using a flexible rate that can be cancelled through your chosen third-party provider without penalty.
Travellers will arrive at various times throughout the day depending on flights booked. If arriving before standard check-in time, which is generally 3pm, you are welcome to leave your luggage at hotel reception and explore your surroundings until check-in becomes available as there are no scheduled activities on day 1 of the itinerary. The hotel may grant early check-in, however this is strictly subject to availability and at the hotel’s discretion.
Note: if you need to apply for a tourist visa before departure, we recommend using the details of the suggested hotel on the tour itinerary if you wish to fulfil this before the release of your final tour documentation. If any issues arise during your tour, it's essential to promptly communicate them to your tour leader or local representative. This ensures they can take immediate action to address the problem and mitigate any negative impact on the remainder of your journey.
We understand that there may be instances where your tour leader or local representative is unable to resolve a situation to your satisfaction. In such cases, we encourage you to request that the tour leader or local representative escalate the matter to their direct manager for further assistance.
When your final tour documentation is released, this will include an emergency contact for our local travel partner while you are on tour.
Finishing Point
Your finishing hotel may differ from the original itinerary. Please refer to your final documentation which will be provided approximately 14-30 days before departure for your confirmed hotel list. If you need to book additional post-tour accommodation, please do so once you have the final hotel list. We recommend booking a flexible rate that can be changed or cancelled without penalty should there be any unforeseen changes to your booking.

By paying an additional $9,600.00 per person, in addition to the twin-share price, you guarantee the privacy of your own room throughout the entire trip.
Please note when choosing Single Supplement for this tour, your room will generally consist of a double or semi-double bed. Occasionally there may be a hotel that will provide a single bedded room for single travellers.
2- Shared Room with a known friend
If travelling together with a friend, you can opt to share your room with them and avoid paying a single supplement.
You and your friend can create a unique booking each. Creating a unique booking, gives each of you the flexibility of making different travel arrangements (such as adding extra accommodation, flights, etc), making separate payments and having individual access to our Traveller Hub
During the purchase path, you will need to provide your friend’s booking ID (if known) or at a minimum, your friend’s full name.

Travel documentation is sent digitally 30 days before departure. No postal documents are issued. You must complete your cruise personaliser directly with the cruise line. Visas & Entry Requirements
Many countries require a visa and obtaining the correct visa for your tour and any countries you may transit through is your responsibility. We recommend you check your visa requirements as soon as you have booked your tour. This will ensure you have time to prepare your documents and for your visa application to be processed. You’ll need a valid passport to travel internationally and most countries require your passport to have a minimum of 6 months validity, so remember to check the expiry date.
We need your passport information to get everything ready for your tour so the information on your booking must match your passport exactly. Please take care to provide the correct details. We recommend carrying a copy of the photo page of your passport while travelling and leaving a copy at home with family or friends.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended on all our tours. We require that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. It is also important to consider forced pre-tour cancellations and how your chosen insurance policy may cover such circumstances, so please keep this in mind when choosing your provider.
We strongly recommend all travellers have a policy that also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage or personal effects. For international tours, you will be asked by your tour leader for your travel insurance details if they were not already added to your Traveller Hub account pre-departure.
If you have credit card insurance your Inspiring Vacations tour leader or local guide may require details of the participating insurer/underwriter, the level of coverage, policy number, and emergency contact number rather than the bank's name and your credit card details. Please contact your bank for these details before arriving in-country.
Before you depart, you will be asked to submit your Travel Insurance details through the booking holder's Traveller Hub account through the Inspiring Vacations website. This is to ensure that we have this information readily available should we ever need it.
