In the evening, we invite you to explore the lively Gran Vía district. We'll provide transportation to the Egyptian Debod Temple, Plaza de España, and Gran Via, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere. Indulge in a delightful dinner at one of the many restaurants offering a variety of cuisines such as Indian, Chinese, Spanish, and Middle Eastern.
Following breakfast, your tour starts with a comprehensive tour of Madrid's city centre. Marvel at iconic landmarks like the Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. Our journey continues to Retiro Park, a serene oasis in the heart of the city. Explore the park's stunning lake and the Glass Palace.

Bid farewell to Madrid as we embark on an early morning journey southward, passing through the picturesque La Mancha region. We'll make a stop in Puerto Lapice, a charming village that evokes the spirit of Don Quixote. Crossing into Andalusia through Despeñaperros, we'll arrive in Granada.
Enjoy a delicious lunch before our guided visit to the majestic Alhambra Palace and its breathtaking Generalife gardens, showcasing the beauty of Arabian architecture. In the evening, we'll explore the Albaicín district, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can wander through the narrow streets of this captivating Medieval Moorish quarter and savour a delightful dinner. As an optional activity, you can experience a mesmerising flamenco dance show in the traditional neighbourhood of Sacromonte.

ZAMBRA GITANA SHOW LOS TARANTOS (€35 pp)
In this activity you will have a night out in the city of Granada to the famous neighborhood of Albaicin-Sacromonte, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and where you can attend the Zambra Gitana show. We will make a short walking tour of this picturesque place where we will reach the famous Mirador de San Nicolás from where you can see the Alhambra illuminated at dusk. You will have the opportunity to attend the pure flamenco show in Granada: flamenco stick, dance, singing, guitar playing and a drink.

After breakfast, we depart from Granada and travel along the scenic Costa del Sol. Upon reaching Algeciras or Tarifa, we'll board a modern ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar from Africa to Europe. Please note that passengers are responsible for carrying their own luggage during the ferry journey.
Our Moroccan adventure begins as we journey through beautiful landscapes. Our first stop is Asilah, a picturesque oceanfront town with a rich history and charming ambiance. We continue our journey to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. In Rabat, enjoy a delightful buffet dinner and settle into your accommodation for the night.
This morning our adventure starts in Rabat, the Kingdom's capital. Explore the imposing Oudaia Fort, the Hassan Tower with King Mohammed V's mausoleum, and the Andalusian walls. See the Royal Palace and modern neighbourhoods before enjoying some free time.
We depart Rabat for Casablanca. In this modern city, visit the exterior of the immense Hassan II Mosque, the second largest in the Muslim world.
Leaving Casablanca in the early afternoon we travel to Marrakech. Discover the famous Djemaa El Fna market square with a 40-minute tour in Kalesas (horse-drawn carriages). After checking into your hotel your evening is at leisure
Following breakfast enjoy a sightseeing tour of Marrakech. This exotic city, nestled among palm trees and embraced by ochre walls, offers a vibrant atmosphere. We return to Jemaa El Fna square, then on to Koutoubia Mosque, the Jewish Quarter, and the Bahia Palace. Enjoy a delicious included lunch at the hotel and then you are free for your own exploration or take the opportunity to relax for the afternoon.
In the evening, we recommend attending the Fantasia dinner show to immerse yourself in Morocco's rich folklore.

BERBER FANTASY (€65 pp)
Unforgettable show in the Palmeraie of Marrakech where we will discover Morocco’s folklore and the traditional attire of the different tribes that inhabit the desert areas in the south. We will listen to their music and they will show us their dances which are the traditional expression to their most important events: births, weddings, harvest festivals... We will also have the opportunity to attend a horse riding show with world-famous Arab horses. We will go to a belly dance performance which is so intimately connected with Arab culture. We will finally enjoy a gunpowder show also called Fantasia. Its origin, among the inhabitants of kasbahs in southern Morocco, is very old and it is still quite present in all their festivities today.

Today, embark on a breathtaking journey from Marrakech to Boulmane Dades, covering a distance of 300 km. As we cross the majestic Atlas mountains, adorned with picturesque villages clinging to the mountainsides. Don't forget to keep your camera handy and bring warm clothes for the mountainous regions.
Along the way, we pause at a charming mountain village before arriving at Ait Benhaddou, a fortified town made of adobe. Designated as a World Heritage Site, this incredible location has served as a backdrop for numerous films. Enjoy a leisurely stroll among the mud houses.
Leaving Ait Benhaddou, we continue to Ouarzazate, a desert city boasting an imposing fortress. We traverse desert plains and valley oases, eventually arriving at Boulmane Dades in the early evening. Relax and indulge in the amenities of our hotel, followed by a delicious dinner.

Today's journey promises extraordinary landscapes along the renowned "Valley of the Kasbahs." Prepare yourself with comfortable footwear as you will stop along the way to soak up the scenery with some short walks.
Our first stop is Todra Gorge, a captivating canyon nestled amidst the Atlas Mountains. This picturesque location offers one of the most beautiful landscapes in Morocco. Enjoy some free time explore (please note that access may be restricted during periods of intense rain and river flooding).
We venture further into the desert landscape making a stop at Ksar el Khorbat, an adobe oasis town with impressive fortified villages and gain insights into the lives of desert communities.

Departure from the hotel in4WD to the dune fields of Erg Chebbi, the westernmost point of Sahara desert. Once there, we will be delighted by this wonder of nature. Embark on an early departure from Erfoud, as we venture through the magnificent Atlas mountains. As we ascend, we enter a high and chilly plateau where nomadic pastoralists reside.
Our journey takes us to Midelt, a vibrant hub known for its agricultural riches, including bountiful apple orchards. Take a leisurely stroll through its charming streets.
In Azrú, we make a stop to visit "the house of the cedars," a small museum that provides fascinating insights into the area. Delight in observing the playful colonies of monkeys that inhabit this captivating landscape.
Our next destination is Bhalil, a serene town nestled in the Middle Atlas, where the Berber community thrives. Explore the colourful historic centre and wander through streets. Discover the integration of traditional cave dwellings into the charming houses of this town.
As the day draws to a close, we arrive in Fez, the spiritual heart city of Morocco, a labyrinth of alleys and souks, doors and smells. Before going to the hotel, we will admire the view of the city from the Saadian tombs. Dinner included.
Our day begins with an informative scenic tour led by a knowledgeable local guide, unveiling the city's most intriguing highlights. From the majestic architecture to the vibrant souks exuding an ancient atmosphere, Fez will leave an indelible mark on our hearts. We'll pass through the Bronze Gates of the Royal Palace, delve into the Jewish quarter, meander through lively souks, and discover the tanners' quarter. Fez's cultural significance is epitomised by its breathtaking Medina, preserving the authentic Arabian ambiance. After our exploration, we'll enjoy a delightful Moroccan lunch in a splendid old Palace within the Medina.
Later in the day, we bid farewell to Fez and embark on a scenic journey. Travelling along the modern highway, we venture north through picturesque landscapes adorned with olive and wheat fields in the Rif valleys. Finally we arrive in Tangier where dinner awaits.
Around mid morning, depart for the port of Tangier for our Ferry back to Spain. Each traveller must carry their bags and hand luggage, as required by the Spanish national security authorities. Remember to keep your passport handy. Crossing of approximately one hour. On arrival at the Spanish port, continue though beautiful white villages, arriving in Seville in the evening.
Start your day with a delightful breakfast before embarking on a guided tour through the vibrant streets of Seville. Depending on the size of the English-speaking group (less than fifteen people), the tour will be conducted in English or Spanish, ensuring a personalised experience for all. Lasting for one and a half hours, this immersive tour will take you to the iconic landmarks of Seville.
Marvel at the grandeur of the Cathedral and the iconic Giralda tower. Experience the beauty of Plaza de España and stroll along the picturesque banks of the Guadalquivir River. ARTISTIC & SEVILLE CATHEDRAL (€25 pp)
We will visit the cathedral, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Then, if you wish, you can climb the famous tower of the cathedral "La Giralda" with its 104 meters where you can enjoy a fabulous view of the city of Seville.

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Seville and set off on a memorable adventure through the beautiful landscapes of western Andalusia.

Continuing our journey, we cross the border into Portugal and arrive at the hilltop village of Monsaraz. Leaving Monsaraz behind, we make our way to the remarkable city of Evora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the highlights of our visit is the Chapel of Bones, a hauntingly beautiful structure constructed using the bones of more than 5000 skeletons. As the sun begins to set, we bid farewell to Evora and make our way to our final destination—Lisbon. Arriving in the evening, we're greeted by the vibrant energy of Portugal's capital city.
After breakfast we commence our journey through the enchanting city of Lisbon, guided by a knowledgeable local expert. Our exploration begins in the traditional neighbourhoods, where we will delve into the captivating history of this magnificent city.
We visit Belem district, renowned as the birthplace of the great Portuguese navigators who embarked on daring voyages during the fifteenth century. As the day draws to a close, we provide transportation to Restauradores Square. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of this bustling square, brimming with charming bars and cafes. If you choose, you can take the "Elevador da Gloria" (not included), a historic tram that will transport you to the Upper district. From there, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon and the Bairro Alto from the viewpoint of San Pedro.

In this visit, you will enjoy the landscapes of the Tagus estuary, the famous Costa del Sol, a resting place and residence of nobles in the history of Portugal. We will continue to the famous Guincho beach where you will see the westernmost point in Europe, the Cabo da Roca, and we will stop in the beautiful city of Cascais. PORTUGUESE FADO IN BARRIO ALTO (€45pp)
To talk about traditional Portuguese music is to talk about FADO. It is the musical genre par excellence in Portugal. It is a musical style born of feeling, coming from the soul of the person who sings. It is one of the most important symbols of Portugal and recognised by UNESCO as intangible heritage of humanity. In addition to the solo voices, stringed instruments and musicians are a fundamental part of Fado. The fado player is usually accompanied by the so-called viola (similar to the Spanish guitar) and the Portuguese guitar (12 strings). FADO will always reflect stories of love and heartbreak... a lot of melancholy and a lot of "SAUDADE". A FADO house is the best place to listen to FADO.

Lively Tour: A very good level of fitness and mobility is required for you to enjoy all aspects of the itinerary, as this is considered a fast-paced tour. While there is some free time scheduled either in the morning or afternoon, there are many full days of sightseeing with minimal rest and some early starts. You will be required to walk up and down stairs, get on and off the coach and participate in all scheduled sightseeing that may be conducted on uneven ground and terrain. Any physical ailments you may have must be disclosed at the time of booking to determine your suitability. If you have any form of walking aids, other than a walking stick or hiking poles, then this tour is not suitable.
Tipping
