Based in Toronto, Meegan leads our dedicated Canada sales team. With our continuous growth in North America and as an online business operating round-the-clock, our Canada operations play a significant role in serving our customers at any hour.
How long have you worked with Inspiring Vacations?
I joined Inspiring Vacations in 2018 and I’m so pleased to be back with the company now after a brief hiatus during the pandemic (in that time, I ran my own small side hustle making jam, then I worked for an airline to keep feeding my love of travel!).
What I particularly missed about Inspiring Vacations was the open communication and collaboration among team members. It is refreshing to be surrounded by like-minded people who are passionate about their work, and everyone is always willing to lend a hand. I love that everyone in the company talks to our customers.
What’s the most satisfying part of your role?
Being able to assist our team members grow and develop and seeing their delight in helping our travellers book their perfect holiday! It really is such a satisfying experience and our customers are great.
What does flexible work look like for you at Inspiring Vacations?
Being able to work from home gives me the flexibility to be around when my kids come home from school, or to even get out for a walk with my dog on my lunch break.
What are you most looking forward to with Inspiring Vacations?
We have a lot to look forward to! Growing our sales team and getting the word out about our amazing product in the North American market by attending trade/travel shows and hosting events. We are constantly receiving great feedback from our current customers about our tours, especially Japan, the ease of our booking process and the fact we have a team based here to support our customers.
I am personally looking forward to being able to take advantage of the Work from Anywhere benefit and getting out of Canada during winter to work somewhere warm for a few weeks!

This is a hardworking, dedicated team completely focused on giving our customers the best experience in travel and just a really fun group of people!

I jumped at the opportunity to return to Inspiring Vacations. I love the outside-the-box thinking and constant focus on how we can provide a better experience for our customers.
