Travel with the experts for a carefully curated, value-packed discovery of the world's most iconic destinations. Our tours are bursting with must-see sights, rich experiences and quality inclusions, all at an unbeatable price. Bucket list dreams are ticked off on these all-encompassing journeys.
Begin your wilderness exploration in Hobart. Don’t let the size of this tiny capital fool you – Hobart sure packs a punch. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Tonight, a welcome dinner is the perfect way to kickstart your adventure and meet your fellow travellers.
Today is all about experiencing the exciting culture of the city. Begin at Tasmania’s Museum of Old and New Art (MONA). Thought-provoking, engaging and provocative are just a few of the words used to describe this private museum. Afterwards, enjoy a cheeky tipple and tour of the boutique Lark Distillery, renowned for their world-class malt whisky. Cap off your day with a fresh seafood dinner at Mures Upper Deck restaurant, enhanced by the pristine views over Victoria Dock.
Following breakfast, journey to iconic Cradle Mountain and its surrounding national park. Along the southern edge of the park lies Lake St Clair, the deepest freshwater lake in Australia. Indigenous Australians named this lake Leeawuleena, which translates to ‘sleeping water’. Enjoy the tranquillity as you walk along its shores.
Picture pink granite cliffs and white sand beaches. This landscape takes form at Freycinet National Park, where nature takes centre stage. We have the entire day here to explore. A short hike brings you to Wineglass Bay Lookout, where glorious views of the curving bay and crescent beach are well worth the effort.
We continue with the theme of breathtaking natural landscapes today at the Bay of Fires. Clusters of boulders are scattered across 50 kilometres of beach along the east coast, covered in a layer of orange lichen. See Bicheno Blowhole, and try to capture the playful ocean spout on camera. On arrival at Bay of Fires Lodge, soak away the morning’s activities with a relaxing foot bath and welcome drink.
Today’s the perfect day to enjoy a coastal walk along this fiery stretch of beach, which you have exclusive access to right at your doorstep. During your walk, you may see evidence of early Indigenous Australian life by spotting an Aboriginal midden. You’ll also visit the marsupial lawns, where you may encounter native wallabies, kangaroos and wombats by following the tracks they leave at nightfall.
Your final stop is Launceston, affectionately coined ‘Lonnie’ by locals. Today is a treat for the tastebuds. As it’s the gateway to the Tamar Valley, delicious, locally produced wines are in abundance. Begin at the Jansz Wine Room and Interpretive Centre, where you will sample a tasting of some of Australia’s most celebrated sparkling wines. Next up, be greeted by views of the ocean as you pass rows of vineyards to Pipers Brook Vineyard for a tasty lunch with matching wines.
Begin your day at Cataract Gorge, a unique natural formation on the outskirts of the city. Follow the path along the river to explore the geological wonders and soak up the fresh Tasmanian air. Then sadly it is time to head on home.
