Arrive into Adelaide, transfers provided to your accommodation, meet and greet your guide with a welcome group dinner on your first night to get excited about your adventure ahead. Meals: Restaurant dinner in Adelaide (2 courses)

Today we travel to the Barossa for a day tour of cycling, wine tasting and gourmet food sampling. We visit Penfolds, Maggie Beers, Yalumba and other iconic food and wine venues whilst cycling the off road Barossa Rail Trail. A fun day on the bike with the focus on food and wine.
Cycling 35kms
A fantastic day awaits cycling the Riesling Rail Trail to Clare. We transfer for the Clare Valley, before jumping on our bikes and heading towards Clare, with lots of scheduled stops on the way. A highlight is a full gourmet lunch at the highly regarded Skillogalee Winery. Overnight in Clare.
Cycling 35kms
From Clare we make our way back to Auburn tracing a slightly different route with lots of optional diversions, and a gourmet platter style lunch at the stunning O’Leary Walker Winery. We then transfer to Hahndorf in the beautiful Adelaide Hills – a very scenic drive - and check in at our accommodation at the lovely ‘The Manna’.
Cycling 35kms
After a hearty breakfast, we transfer via the scenic route to the seaside wine region of McLaren Vale. Our cycling today is on the paved, scenic and aptly named Shiraz Trail, a flat and fun ride. We enjoy an exclusive wine and food matching lunch at Wirra Wirra, before being transferred back to Adelaide for our final evening. We celebrate the tour with a celebratory group restaurant dinner in Adelaide, which is always loads of fun. Overnight back in Adelaide.

Enjoy a final cooked breakfast, check out, exchange emails and numbers of your new friends and prepare for your onward journey.

Departure transfers are included as part of your package. You will be collected from your hotel at the appropriate time and transferred to the airport to meet your flight. If Inspiring Vacations has not provided your international airfares please ensure you provided your flight details via your Traveller Hub portal no later than 90 days prior to travel or your transfers won’t be able to be confirmed.

These bikes are amazing to ride, just like any regular bike but the pedal assist technology provides an extra boost when additional pressure is applied to the pedals. Super easy to use, just like a normal bike with brakes, gears and a very comfortable upright position. Go further with an eBike!

This package is sold as land only, however you do have the option of adding domestic & international airfares to your booking. Online check-in
Some airlines may not permit online check-in where flights have been booked by a travel company. Where unavailable to do so online, you will be required to check-in at the airport. Inspiring Vacations cannot check-in online on behalf of our customers.
Fitness Requirements
While the tour itinerary should give you some guidance and overview to the expected requirements, to determine if this tour is right for you we categorise each of our tours in terms of their intensity. These guidelines are to ensure that each tour group is conducted as expected and to ensure the overall satisfaction of all Inspiring Vacations customers.
As a general rule, porterage is not included, therefore at all times you are expected to handle your own luggage where help may not be available.
This particular tour is categorised as a “5”:
Physically Demanding Tour: A strong level of fitness and mobility is required for you to enjoy all aspects of the itinerary. The tour has been designed to include all of the major sightseeing and attractions of the country and is therefore considered fast-paced, with minimal free time and some long days of travelling. You would be required to move freely on your own up and down stairs, get on and off the coach with easy, as well as being able to participate in all scheduled sightseeing that may be conducted on uneven ground and mountainous terrain. If travelling above an altitude of 3000m, you will be required to complete a medical clearance form. This tour is not suitable if you require a walker and wheelchair or any other physical ailments that may impact your overall enjoyment. If you are interested in one of these tours, we suggest calling our team to discuss your requirements so we can suggest other, more suitable tours for you.
Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. While tipping is not customary, it's of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across many destinations.
You may also consider tipping your tour leader and driver for outstanding service throughout your trip. Remember, a tip is not compulsory and should only be given when you receive excellent service.
Accommodation
The accommodation listed is subject to change. Any changes will be of an equal or higher standard. Bedding configurations (double or twin) are requests only. All efforts will be made to meet your preferences however any changes are beyond our control.
Twin Share Bedding Configuration
At any time, bedding configuration is subject to confirmation by the hotel and based on availability. While you have the option to select either twin or double bedding at time of booking, our recommendation when travelling to Japan is to choose twin bedding, as the rooms are often bigger than those that have a double bed. If insisting on double bedding, please note that the rooms will be smaller and more narrow. As a general expectation, we cannot always guarantee bedding at all hotel stays.
