On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your river ship. This evening, meet your Cruise Director and fellow passengers at a Welcome Reception.
Stay: Seven Nights, Travelmarvel river ship
Amsterdam’s network of 17th-century canals lends the city its nickname – The Venice of the North. Board a glass-top boat and glide through Amsterdam’s maze of waterways with a local guide. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to explore this lively city. Later, travel by coach to Utrecht, via Rembrandt’s Windmill. From here, your ship will set off along the Rhine as you prepare for tonight’s special Gala Dinner.

Step back in time and visit the World Heritage-listed Augustusburg Castle. Listen to enthralling stories of its infamous former resident and enjoy a walk through the picturesque gardens.
Arrive in Cologne, where the twin spires of the Kölner Dom fill the skyline. Disembark and take the short drive to Brühl, where your Insider Experience awaits.
Today, experience a true highlight of the holiday – cruising through the Rhine Gorge. Later, your ship will dock in Rüdesheim, a pretty Rhine Valley wine town. The Winzerexpress mini-train will take you to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, which houses a beautiful collection of automated musical instruments.

Get a glimpse into local life as you are warmly welcomed into the home of a friendly Miltenberg family. Enjoy coffee and cake made by your gracious hosts.
Today, arrive in the evocative town of Miltenberg. Perfectly positioned at the confluence of the Tauber and Main rivers, Miltenberg is home to charming half-timbered houses and beautiful squares. Later this evening, enjoy a superb dinner on board.
After breakfast, board a coach and travel through green hills and rich vineyards to Würzburg. Admire its baroque palace and the Würzburg Residence. A walk through Würzburg Court Garden allows you to soak in the atmosphere. Later on, you may wish to take an optional journey to the medieval town of Rothenburg.
Arrive in Bamberg this morning. This town offers authentic charm, having survived largely unscathed during World War II. Today you can choose to embark on a guided tour of the town, visiting sites such as the Bamberg Cathedral, or spend the afternoon at your leisure. Later this evening, your ship will reach the Main-Danube Canal.
Nuremberg, Disembark Ship, Depart Munich
After breakfast today, you will disembark your ship in Nuremberg and be transferred to the airport in Munich for your return flight to the UK.
