Meals
Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast we will set off on our first experience of the day, a visit to Janbal Gallery in Mosman for a painting lesson.

Aboriginal artist Brian ‘Binna’ Swindley opened the gallery in 2008 and he will guide the group through a painting lesson, painting techniques and share Dreamtime stories about animals, environment and language. You’ll learn how stories are told through Aboriginal paintings and get to take your own canvas home as a special memento of your visit.

Next, we’ll drive through Shannonvale Valley on the way to Mossman Gorge and learn about the ancient Aboriginal ‘highways’ that ran through the region.

On arrival at Mossman Gorge Centre, we’ll be greeted with a traditional smoking ceremony, followed by a delicious lunch infused with local flavours at the Mayi Café, right next to the rainforest. After lunch, we’ll wander into the lush World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park rainforest with our Aboriginal guide. The rainforest is one of the world’s oldest and most beautiful and it’s a joy to explore - just an easy walk across boardwalks, tracks and bridges that protect this delicate ecosystem. The guide will share stories of the Kuku Yalanji culture and we’ll learn about the rich flora and fauna of this diverse environment.

After this visit, we’ll head back to the hotel where the rest of the evening is spent at leisure.

Meals
Breakfast, Lunch

Get your sun hat and sunscreen ready - today will be spent exploring what Queensland is best known for: its reefs.

After breakfast, we’ll head to Agincourt Ribbon Reefs to explore three exclusive reef sites, each chosen for their visual and ecological diversity. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority say that the Agincourt reefs, "are some of the best and most pristine examples of coral reefs in the Great Barrier Reef."

Today you’ll be diving and snorkelling in comfort and style. The friendly and knowledgeable Silversonic crew will happily answer all your questions and will ensure your underwater adventure is one to remember. Access to the water is very easy, thanks to the large, submerged platform. On board you’ll be able to relax on the spacious deck areas, enjoy a hot and cold tropical lunch and licensed bar, and of course, there’s hot freshwater showers and change rooms.

After, we’ll head back to the hotel where you can spend your final evening as you wish.
