Welcome to Uluru! You'll take a shuttle transfer from the airport to your hotel.
This evening, enjoy a camel tour at sunset through this dramatic desert landscape, with superb views of both Uluru and Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
A sunrise trek around the full 12-km base of Uluru gives you the perfect chance to embrace the history and importance of one of Australia's most famous and recognisable landmarks. Uluru is the traditional and cultural land of the Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara people (also known collectively as the Anangu people).
Uluru is not only awe-inspiring and massive, it’s steeped in history and intrigue. Each side of Uluru has a different creation story associated with it. It’s one of the largest monoliths in the world and at 348 metres above the desert floor, it towers over the landscape. You'll witness sunrise, visit waterholes and the rock art sites of the ancients and savour an outback picnic breakfast.
The afternoon is free for you to relax.
In the morning, your guide will escort you on the Valley of the Winds walk. It’s an unforgettable experience at Kata Tjuta with Uluru in the distance, the two major landmarks within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The origins of Uluru and Kata Tjuta date back about 500 million years.
Later, you'll take a shuttle transfer to the airport.
