While some free time may be scheduled, most sightseeing is included throughout this tour. Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed and escorted to your hotel via a private transfer. At 19:00, gather at the hotel's Reception Desk for a warm welcome meeting with your Tour Director, where you will also have the chance to meet your fellow travellers for this journey.

Start your day with breakfast served at your hotel. Embark on a morning city exploration in the vibrant metropolis of Madrid, where you'll have the opportunity to witness its captivating highlights and experience the innate passion embedded in the city's culture.
The afternoon is free for you to further discover the enchanting marvels that Madrid has in store. In the early evening, come together with your fellow travellers for an authentic Welcome Tapas Dinner at a local restaurant, a delightful introduction to the city's culinary delights.
Following breakfast at your hotel, begin your journey heading southwards to Mérida, the initial destination of the day. Mérida, situated in western Spain, serves as the capital of Extremadura and boasts a rich history dating back to its Roman foundation in the 1st century BC. You'll have the opportunity to explore remnants of this ancient city, including the awe-inspiring Roman Theater (entrance included), before enjoying some leisure time.
Continue your travels towards Seville, the renowned Andalusian capital often referred to as the "Spanish City of Light."
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel to kickstart your day. Today's adventure takes you on a city tour through the enchanting Seville. Explore the city's romantic side as you visit the Jewish Quarter, where narrow streets dating back to the Moorish era form a captivating labyrinth.
The afternoon offers you free time to bask in the radiance of this "city of light" and make your own discoveries at your leisure.
Following breakfast at your hotel, your journey continues as you head to Córdoba, a city with a rich heritage and a glorious past. Here, you will explore its remarkable Mosque, now transformed into a Christian Cathedral, and wander through its charming narrow streets adorned with Arabian-style architecture.
Next, you'll continue your voyage to Granada, often regarded as the most enchanting city in Spain, driving through endless olive groves that paint the landscape. As night falls, gather with your fellow travellers for an unforgettable evening, immersing yourself in the most authentic Gypsy Flamenco show in Spain, complete with a delightful dinner. It's an evening that will leave a lasting impression.
Begin your day with a sumptuous buffet breakfast at your hotel. The focal point of today's itinerary is a visit to the Alhambra Palace, one of Spain's most extraordinary World Heritage Sites. Its intricate domes and arches stand as a tribute to the exceptional craftsmanship of Moorish artisans. Situated atop a hill on the western banks of the River Darro, the Alhambra also provides breathtaking panoramic views of the entire city.

Bid farewell to Granada as you set off for the magnificent Imperial city of Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage City where Christian, Moorish, and Jewish cultures have harmoniously coexisted for centuries. Immerse yourself in the rich history of this ancient town as you embark on a guided city tour, winding your way through its charming narrow streets.
Upon returning to the eternal and beloved city of Madrid, reunite with your fellow travellers for a memorable final Farewell Dinner, marking the end of your journey. Your overnight stay will be arranged at your hotel in Madrid.

Fitness Requirements
While the tour itinerary should give you some guidance and overview to the expected requirements, to determine if this tour is right for you we categorise each of our tours in terms of their intensity. These guidelines are to ensure that each tour group is conducted as expected and to ensure the overall satisfaction of all Inspiring Vacations customers.
As a general rule, porterage is not included, therefore at all times you are expected to handle your own luggage where help may not be available.

Lively Paced Tour: This itinerary will be conducted at a relaxed pace. You will typically spend several nights at one location which means less time spent packing and unpacking, and more sightseeing. You will be required to move about unassisted, including getting on and off vehicles, walking up and down stairs and handling your own luggage.
Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. At the commencement of your tour, your Tour Leader will suggest contributing towards a ‘tipping kitty’ which can then be used to tip local guides, hotel staff, driver, etc. You will have complete visibility over amounts tipped and any funds left will be distributed back to travellers. This tipping kitty is not mandatory, however, over time we’ve found it frees travellers from the stress of keeping the right change at hand and not knowing appropriate tipping amounts. We suggest EUR2 for hotel staff, EUR3-4 for local guides and EUR2-3 for the driver (suggestions are per person per day).
Please note that this tipping is not for your Tour Leader. If you are happy with the service provided by your Tour Leader we recommend tipping EUR2-4 per person per day.

Please be aware that if, based on evaluation by our leader or local representative, a participant is deemed unable to safely complete the itinerary, we retain the right to exclude them from all or part of the trip without reimbursement.
It is advisable to consult your physician for current medical travel advisories and any required vaccinations before embarking. We recommend carrying a first aid kit and any necessary medications in their original packaging, as they may not be readily available during travel. For those carrying medication, it's essential to check your government's foreign travel guidelines for local restrictions or regulations.
