Botswana Tours

Endless savannas, thriving wetlands, an abundance of wildlife and a rich cultural heritage: Botswana is the Africa people dream about. While the Republic of Botswana is relatively young – having only gained independence from British rule in 1966 – its heritage is immense.

Dominated by the vast Kalahari, Botswana is dry, but surprisingly lush. It’s home to many game reserves, such as Chobe and Moremi, but the jewel in Botswana’s crown is the Okavango Delta, which runs into the desert sands to create an oasis like no other. Jump in a canoe and float through the delta’s many spectacular channels, watching for elephants, flamingos, lions and hippos who regularly wade through its waters – just don’t tip the boat.
