Welcome to Ljubljana! Upon arrival to the airport, you will be transferred to the starting point hotel. Later on, meet your tour director, fellow travellers and get to know the details of your tour ahead. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Ljubljana at leisure.
Start your day with a visit this colorful capital, Ljubljana. Your guide will take you around and show you the most important attractions, such as Preseren’s square, triple bridge, fish market, the town hall and many others. To wrap up the tour, you will also take funicular up to the castle hill to learn more about Ljubljana and Slovenia’s history whilst admiring amazing views from the top. The rest of the afternoon will be free at leisure, to enjoy city at your own pace.
Drive to Maribor and beginning with sightseeing of Maribor, second biggest city in Slovenia, known as the city with the oldest grapevine in the world which is more than 400 years. The guide will take you through the old town by the river, where you will stop in one of restaurants for lunch. Some free time and then continue to Ptuj, the oldest city in Slovenia. It was the Romans who left a very strong mark here, with their gravestones, temples and roads. Back then the city was known as Poetovio. Later on, drive back to Ljubljana for the night.
Today your adventure will continue underground, more precisely, Karst underground. Your first stop - Predjama, amazing Renaissance fortress, built within a cave, a very different kind of castle you may be familiar with. Even Guinness book of records listed it as the biggest castle ever built inside a rock. Later, enter the queen of caves – Postojna cave, the only cave in the world with a train in it. The cave offers a unique experience of the underworld. After a breath-taking walk underground, enjoy free time for lunch. In the afternoon we drive to Slovenian seaside. Accommodation is at one of the comfortable seaside resorts - settle in, and enjoy free time to relax at the beach!
In the morning we take a guided tour of the small boutique town of Piran. This Slovenian jewel used to be part of Venetian republic, so today the city’s architecture reminds a lot of Venice and it is one of the most adorable cities in the world. After free time for coffee by the sea, you will visit Koper, a Slovenian coastal town that once used to be an island. Its medieval streets are just perfect for an afternoon wandering at leisure.
After a delicious breakfast, drive back to the Karst region, to learn about a very unique horse breed: Lipizzaner. These horses, which were breeded for Habsburg monarchy, are famous for being born black and turning white as they grow up. We later continue to the emerald valley of Soca.
The valley of Soca used to be part of the well-known Isonzo front in WWI. We will visit the WWI museum and, after lunch, we drive to the Julian Alps region where magical views and pristine nature is waiting for you!
Time for an Alpine fairy tale! With immense natural beauty, Bled and its surroundings magnificent lake, rank amongst the most beautiful alpine resorts of the world. Amazing castle on the cliff offers stunning views of the region, while an island in the middle of the lake can be visited by a traditional boat called “pletna”. After lunch, continue to the largest alpine lake in Slovenia – lake Bohinj. You will take a funicular up to the top of Mt Vogel, where your breath will be taken away by unforgettable views of Triglav National Park. Enjoy free time to admire this natural beauty and relax by the lake's shore. In the evening, join you group for a farewell dinner to share memorable moments of the tour and plan new ones.
After one last delicious breakfast, enjoy free time until it's time for you to depart. At the appropriate time, your included transfer will take you to the airport in time to board your ongoing flight.

If you change your mind within 7 days of making your booking online, you can request a refund of your initial deposit payment as part of our cooling-off period. Once your purchase date falls outside of the 7-day period, our standard terms and conditions will apply.
