Welcome to Zagreb! Upon arrival to the airport, you will be transferred to the starting point hotel. Later on, meet your tour director, fellow travellers and get to know the details of your tour ahead. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Zagreb at leisure.
After a delicious included breakfast, explore the Croatian capital on a walking tour of its historical Zagreb including the Gornji Grad and Kaptol which feature a medieval urban complex of churches, palaces, museums, galleries and government buildings. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy and continue exploring the city at your own pace.
After breakfast we set off to one of the most photogenic natural parks: Plitvice National Park. This area of exceptional natural is not only Croatia’s first national park but also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its 16 emerald-turquoise lakes are connected to each other by a fabulous system of waterfalls. After a guided tour of the park you will enjoy some time to explore the area on your own. Later in the afternoon we will transfer to our hotel in Plitvice area for the night.
Today, start the day with a short city tour of Zadar and its ancient and early Christian monuments. Zadar was once the important city of the first Croatian kingdom. Nowadays it is the administrative and cultural capital of northern Dalmatia. The antique Forum, the old church St. Donat, the Cathedral St Anastasia and many others are sure to leave an impression on you. We will also visit the Sea Organ, an experimental instrument that plays music by the way of sea waves. In the afternoon we continue to drive to Split, stopping on the way at Trogir, and antique city full of unique palaces.
After breakfast we will explore Split on an included walking tour. The old city center and its Roman Diocletian palace is too declared a UNESCO Heritage and it is one of the most compelling ancient Roman monument in Croatia. Your tour includes visits to the Roman Diocletian palace, St. Duje Cathedral, The Golden Gate and to famous Split riva. The afternoon is free for you to continue discovering Split at your own pace.
After breakfast we continue driving south towards Dubrovnik. Once settled at our hotels we'll set off to explore Dubrovnik on an included sightseeing tour. Dubrovnik is a unique jewel of the Adriatic coast and one of the most iconic cities in the world. The city-state of Dubrovnik was one of the most important merchant towns in the entire Adriatic region. We will walk along the medieval wall that surrounds the old city center and discover its ancient secret such as the Passing Pile gate, the Franciscan monastery and the Rectors’ palace. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city on your own or join one of the optional tours to the island of Lokrum, famous for its Fort Royale, Botanical garden and monastery. Your tour conductor will be able to assist you make these arrangements while on tour.
Today is absolutely free for you to enjoy Dubrovnik on your own. Perhaps take a boat trip to Elafiti islands or just wander along the medieval streets. In the evening, join your group for a farewell dinner to share the trip's most memorable moments and plan new ones.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and, at the appropriate time, be transferred to Dubrovnik airport to connect with your ongoing flight.
