Get ready! Today you are departing for Prague to begin your Central Euorpe vacation.
Welcome to Prague! At your airport of arrival, we shall be waiting with transport to take you to your hotel. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.
At sunset, we provide transport to take you to the Old Town Square. This central location is full of energy and touristic activities. It’s a marvelous place to acquaint ourselves with Prague.
Several restaurants offering cuisines from around the world will be waiting to delight your taste buds, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian.
This morning, embark on a half-day city tour of Prague. The tour starts from the Castle Quarter (admission included), the political, religious and monumental centre of the capital. From here enjoy the cathedral, palaces and viewpoints over the “City of 100 Spires” as our guide explains the history of the country.
We then continue our walk through the “Small City” or Malastrana Quarter, the city’s Baroque jewel, to the famous Charles Bridge. The city tour is followed by a monumental cruise on the river Vltava before a free afternoon to continue exploring the city. In the evening, we enjoy time in the historic city centre before returning to the hotel.
This morning we depart for Munich, the capital of the German region of Bavaria. On arrival, we will visit the futuristic BMW Welt with its fascinating architecture for a multi-use exhibition of BMW, the prestigious German vehicles brand. Afterwards, enjoy free time to stroll through the monumental centre and have lunch at one of the famous traditional beerhouses, accompanied by popular music before departing for Innsbruck.
After arriving in Innsbruck at approximately 5:30pm, we will have time to stroll around the Golden Roof area of the old town where there are many local and international restaurants to choose from for dinner.
Begin the day with a visit to the Swarovski Crystal Museum, where we will visit the headquarters of the well-known firm, as well as the gardens and museum to see how this crystal is made. Afterwards, we have time to stroll in the historic centre of Innsbruck before departing for Kitzbühel after lunch.
Marvel at the alpine scenery as we travel along a scenic road between the mountains. Upon arrival in Kitzbühel, enjoy some free time to see this picturesque little village, known as a famous ski resort that enjoys snow for a large part of the year! This evening, we have an included dinner at the hotel.
We depart Kitzbühel today to arrive in Salzburg by mid-morning and will be guided through the most beautiful streets of the historic city centre, a declared World Heritage site. After some time for lunch, we continue on our way into the Austrian countryside. Have the camera ready as this is a very scenic area of the European Alps.
Along the way, we'll stop and visit St. Wolfgang, a pilgrimage town on Lake Wolfgangsee before arriving in Traunkirchen. Enjoy time to explore this beautiful city before taking a cruise of Traunsee Lake to Gmunden. Arrive in Vienna this evening and enjoy the night at leisure.
Start with a scenic sightseeing tour of Vienna to discover the most important places of interest including the Opera, the Museum of Fine Arts and Natural History, Parliament, the Royal Theatre, City Hall and the University. Passing by the Church of San Carlos, we arrive to the Belvedere Palace where we will walk through the gardens for a fabulous view of the city.
Directly afterwards, we head to Schönbrunn Palace where visitors can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful gardens. In the evening, stop at City Hall Square to enjoy the lighting and the nightlife in the neighbouring streets.
We depart this morning for a 3-hour trip to Budapest, following the course of the Danube into Hungary. On arrival in Budapest, relax and discover the city on a boat tour along the Danube river where the views of the city and parliament are second to none.
This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Budapest and visit the two areas of the city that are separated by the Danube - with historic "Buda" on one side and cosmopolitan "Pest" on the opposite bank. We will discover the elegant Pest quarter, the city’s administrative, commercial and leisure district along with Heroes’ Square, the Parliament, the Opera House and the elegant boulevards; and the historical Hill of Buda with St. Matthew’s Cathedral, the Fisherman’s Bastion and Habsburg Palace.
Enjoy time at leisure this afternoon. At sunset, there will be time at the end of the day to explore the lively area of Váci utca, the main pedestrian street in Budapest, where there are lots of restaurants to enjoy your last dinner in Hungary.
We depart from Budapest this morning and arrive in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Take time to explore the historic city centre before stopping for lunch.
In the early afternoon, we will leave Bratislava to continue on our way to the Czech Republic.
Enjoy one last delicious breakfast this morning, before your trip through Central Europe concludes today. At the appropriate time you will be transferred to Prague airport in time to board your flight home.

Check out: Check-out time is generally between 10am-12pm. You are welcome to leave your luggage at hotel reception and spend your final moments of free time exploring the area or alternatively please speak with hotel staff if you would like to extend your check-out time.

This depends on the package you are booking.
Where available, extensions must be added at time of purchase and cannot be added post-purchase unless inside the 7-day cooling off period.
We can assist in arranging your airfares to accommodate an extension; however, you must also book the additional nights’ accommodation through us at time of booking (where available as an add-on):
When adding additional nights to your booking, the cost of the extra nights’ accommodation will be reflected on your invoice and payable with the final balance.
Airfare surcharges may apply if extending due to airfare seasonal changes and possible fare differences. These are payable at the time of selecting your desired airfare.

Inspiring Vacations do not arrange seat selection. It is important to highlight that some airlines do not allow pre-selected seats or they may charge a fee to do so. We strongly suggest you contact the airline directly with seating allocation requirements and or arrive at the airport earlier to arrange your seating. While we do not add frequent flyer member details to bookings, you can do this directly with the airline once you have your flight information.
Online check-in
Some airlines may not permit online check-in where flights have been booked by a travel company. Where unavailable to do so online, you will be required to check-in at the airport. Inspiring Vacations cannot check-in online on behalf of our customers.
