Meet Emma, our Content Creator
Since joining Inspiring Vacations as a Content Creator over a year ago, Emma has created many inspiring articles and taken on exciting challenges in our Digital Content team. Here are Emma’s thoughts about joining Inspiring Vacations and how she has found a better way.
Why did you join the Inspiring Vacations team?
I joined Inspiring Vacations as I was looking for a permanent travel writing position, after working freelance for several years. The moment I stepped into the office, I knew I wanted to be a part of the team. Everyone I met was enthusiastic, friendly and driven to succeed. It's amazing to reflect on how that small group has grown and flourished into a sizeable team of passionate people across multiple continents.
What do you love about your job?
I love the freedom of my job and the flexibility of my role. As well as crafting our destination pages and many articles, my role enables me to collaborate with others, both within the digital team and beyond. Since commencing last year, I have expanded my skill set significantly and learned a great deal about the travel industry.
What are your favourite company perks?
My favourite perks are the flexible work arrangements and famil opportunities. Working from home once a week allows me to juggle my external studies and set my working hours to suit my schedule. Travel is another huge incentive for me; Inspiring Vacations not only encourages employees to travel during their annual leave, but gives everyone the chance to travel on our tours and share their experiences with the wider team upon their return.
How would you describe the company culture?
Inspiring Vacations has an incredibly open style of communication, encouraging all staff members – whether an intern or senior management – to participate in new initiatives and pitch ideas. This fosters a supportive and innovative culture, where everyone feels valued. I'm proud to work for a company that prioritises both team morale and customer satisfaction.
