By now, all those customers who had a tour originally booked for travel up to 30 June 2020 have been contacted to advise that their tour has been postponed, due to government-imposed restrictions impacting both domestic and overseas travel. 

Following this news, we appreciate your eagerness to reschedule your postponed tour. You will have been issued with a credit note for the value paid on your booking, which will allow you to rebook at your convenience. 

The credit can be used towards any package across our network, subject to availability. The credit is valid for use up until 31 December 2021, so you have plenty of time to decide when and where you would like to travel to. We have a range of destinations on offer, as well as travel dates across 2020 and 2021. 

Terms and conditions of the credit: 

  • Credit is valid for use until 31 December 2021 
  • Credit is valid for travel on any Inspiring Vacations tour at any time 
  • Credit will be the gross amount paid on the booking – no third party fees will be charged
  • Credit can not be used towards an existing booking and is to be used for a new booking only
  • Credit can be partly transferred to a person accompanying clients on the alternative trip. It is not transferable to another person, nor is it redeemable for cash.

Any cancellations requests will be treated as per our standard terms and conditions, with no refund available. 

When you are ready, we encourage you to make your new booking online by following these simple steps: 

  1. Make sure you are signed in to your account via our website 
  2. View your account details to locate your unique coupon code
  3. Click ‘Book Now’
  4. Select your preferred departure date
  5. Select your departure city (not applicable for land only deals) 
  6. Select the number of passengers and which bedding you would prefer
    1. Double means one large bed 
    2. Twin means two single beds 
  7. Enter any special requests you may have, such as if you wish to link your booking to another if you are travelling with friends or family
  8. Click “Proceed to secure checkout” 
  9. Where it asks “Do you have a voucher / discount code / group code - click Yes 
    1. Then click “Voucher/Discount code” 
    2. Enter your unique coupon code
  10. The credit value will cover the deposit owing to complete your purchase 
  11. Click “Pay Deposit” 
  12. After a few seconds, the screen will reflect your new Order number, which you can continue to access through your account 
  13. You can now complete the Traveller Booking Form and submit these details to our team so we can begin to process your booking request 

Once your Traveller Booking Form is received, you will receive a detailed confirmation from our team. Please ensure you read the details of this email carefully, as it will provide expectations on the steps taken throughout the life of your booking. 

At this stage, we have postponed travel up until 30 June 2020 only, therefore any travel scheduled beyond this time will continue to proceed as normal until advised otherwise. We will continue to monitor the situation as it continues to unfold and will update our customers as necessary.

 

In the meantime, we are offering customers the option to receive a credit on their booking, allowing them to defer their booking to travel at another time. If you wish to take advantage of this option, you can request a credit through your account. 

Bookings wishing to postpone their 2020 travel can do so and the deposit paid will be held as a future holiday credit to be used towards any trip in 2020, 2021 or 2022 with a change fee of $250 per person. Any third party fees, including airline change fees will be applicable to process this change.
