As a general requirement across all of our trips, you may be required to walk up and down stairs, get on and off transportation, handle your own luggage, and participate in all scheduled sightseeing that may be conducted on uneven ground and terrain. Choose to visit the House of Terror Museum and Memorial and gain an important perspective of 20th century Hungarian history, -OR- get lost in the beautiful Great Market Hall and taste some of the amazing Hungarian local products. This afternoon is yours to uncover Budapest further. Perhaps you will visit Szechenyi Baths – the oldest European baths with hot springs.
Take in the picturesque landscapes en route to Poland. Make a stop in the village of Donovaly, nestled in the Low Tatras mountain range of Slovakia. Your home for the next two nights is the lively city of Krakow, a historic city offering old world charm. This evening, get to know traditional Polish culture during a folklore show and dinner featuring local cuisine.
Discover Krakow’s historic Old Town on a city tour complete with stops at the Market Square, St. Mary’s Church, and the university. You’ll also view Wawel Castle, a former residence of Polish kings. As a general rule, porterage is not included, therefore at all times, you are expected to handle your own luggage where help may not be available.
